 Instructions for Event Registration

Go to the Upcoming Events area (above), move the cursor over and click on the program listing you are interested in registering for.  Member codes for September 2009 until June 2010 are: DET2009, DET20092, DET20093, DET20094 and DET20095.  The codes are case sensitive.
·      You will be taken to the program information page where you will see the program information in detail. Scroll down…..
·      There is an area that shows Registration and will have a ‘click here to register’ link which will take you to another window where you will need to click on the Register Button.  The system will then take you to the Institute’s sign in page where members will type in the same sign in they have with the Institute.
·      Guests will click on ‘don’t have a login/password' – follow instructions there.  Guests will only have to do this once.  Make sure you keep your login/password for your records.
·      Follow the shopping cart instructions from there.  Members who would like to use a function ticket will need to add one of their codes to the offer code field and then choose recalculate on the lower right. For the free programs for members, the shopping cart will show the price for non-members but will zero out at the end of the process for members.
·      The system will only allow one purchase at a time, which means guests will have to sign up for themselves through the system.  This requires them to make a registration profile in the sign in page, and payment via credit card.  You may also call the society office at 586-746-1262 or email a reservation for your guest.  Payment at the door is cash or check only.
